All the pieces are with dedication. The piece Elegy is devoted to Leigh Howard Stevens, famous marimbista, that I admire a lot. Dream is devoted emergent marimbista to Filippo Lattanzi. The pieces Sonoris B and Finger Mallet are devoted to Stefano Baldoni and Fulvio Panico that they study the marimba with passion. Marimba Song n°1 and devoted to Pietro Notarnicola, young marimbista of notable skill. Baroque is devoted to student of my class, Giuseppe Paradiso.

To this edition a CD is attached where I play all the pieces - the marimba is a Malletech 5.0 Imperial Grand Marimba. The compositions and the recordings are a modest contribution to the diffusion of this fascinating instrument. B.F.
